Retro VW Beetle Wedding Car – Elvis

Here he is, the King of wedding Beetles and the longest serving member of our wedding car fleet. Elvis, our Retro VW Beetle Wedding Car, was born in 1979 at the VW plant in Wolfsburg, Germany. This makes him even more special as VW ceased production of the Beetle cabriolets that year.

From there he was shipped to his new home in Los Angeles, California. We have had him for 20 years now and managed to get hold of a unique USA numberplate for him.

Two years ago we installed a new 1600 engine into Elvis the VW Beetle who also had a new Mercedes tan mohair hood fitted. He has also got retrimmed seats in cream leather to match the cream paintwork – ideal to match your wedding theme.

The tyres and wheels are close to the original spec for the US retro VW Beetle model, while for all weddings, we have a beautiful stainless steel luggage carrier complete with our famous “Just Married” suitcase which photographers and couples love.

All in all, a pretty stunning example of the iconic Retro VW Beetle Wedding Car that oozes character while being so different from other wedding cars.
